Oh god, I know i'm going to regret this - but I promised the FA guys I'd release this lot.
Go to http://www.m0o.org.uk
for the links to the vids.
The ftp ain't the fastest.
The vids get better the as the Chapters so.
Constructive feedback is welcome - if the ftp dies then I'll try and get other links ready. Hope you enjoy.

Yeah - the first 2 are from my early days with fraps and editting - so they're not great - the third one is much better.

lol - the FTP is being hammered, mainly on the third Vid - setting up another ftp as we speak for the third vid only - might help the strain a bit. Be about 30 mins

Hi Bizarre - the first 2 movies are at the game speed, the third one is sped up slightly to make it appear better. If you use Windows Movie maker - u can decide how many frames a sec u show - movies 1 + 2 use 25 frames a sec - movie 3 uses 40 frames a sec. I normally hit around 10 frames a sec when recording - though it goes down according to lag and the action.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
1. If you want to make mirrors go ahead. As long as the footage isn't changed.
2. Virtual dub and X-Vid is used in the first instance for the main cutting and editting work, but in order to bring the size of the vids down it's nessary to reduce the size down to 640/480 and other numerous changes. I'll try the filter to smooth out the graphics a bit. Other reason I use movie maker is the amount of trouble we had in the alliance with everyone having different codex's and media players. By using .wmv 99% of people with have the ability to play the movie straight away, instead of me having to spend time setting up links to various codex's etc. Also all EVE movies thus far have had the wmv tag.
Think that covers it all.

Quote: Edited by: Lims Kragma on 28/01/2004 11:40:52 I have one question to ask...
In all that clip your cap never went below 93% while running 2 hardeners minimum and often with 4 guns and 2 launchers running...
Question is this, how?...
Editting
Unfortually I will not be realising any more vids for a while. I've moved onto SWG's for a while with some of the m0o guys. The constant failure to provide the promised items by CCP and the desire to just have a general break is too much. I'm still around and no doubt when Tech II finally arrives I expect I will reappear.
Nice vids btw.
